The Olympics have come and gone, and while it may not feel like spring for those of us in the Colorado Western slope area, spring is coming. We’re still basking in the glow of watching the bobsledders and figure skaters, while sipping hot cocoa in front of a cozy fire. We can look forward with anticipation to warmer temperatures and blooming flowers.
We can also look forward to longer days with the arrival of daylight savings time. An extra hour of daylight after work is always a godsend, isn’t it?
Daylight Savings Time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 9, so don’t forget to set your clocks forward before going to bed. Also, don’t forget to change your programmable thermostat if it doesn’t update automatically. The new outdoor temperatures call for a lower thermostat levels.
For any assistance setting up the thermostat, don’t hesitate to get in touch with a representative at Climate Control Company. We can certainly help with setting your thermostat, and while one of our skilled specialists is in your home, they can also check your air conditioning unit to ensure it is ready for spring.
