Radiant floor heating is one of the most comfortable heating systems available today.
Climate Control Company specializes in designing radiant floor heating or snow melt systems that best fit our client’s
needs.
Why Radiant Heating?
One great aspect of radiant heating is the ease of zoning rooms
within the building. Rooms might have different exposures and heat loss. Therefore, by zoning the rooms, you maintain a higher
degree of comfort, versatility and efficiency. These systems are quiet, clean and heat the entire space requested.
Fast Fact – Radiant floor heating is not new technology. It was first used by the Romans as early
as 60 A.D.
How does it work?
We can design and consult on systems for new construction
that include heating the floors, walls and ceilings to overcome heat loss. Radiant heating systems come in various forms and
applications. Generally, most systems will utilize some form of boiler that generates heat and then circulates a fluid through
tubes embedded in concrete. Light weight concrete is poured over the top of sub-floors or is stapled up to the underside of
sub-floors.
Where does it work?
Radiant heating systems can be used from the smallest remodel
to very large commercial projects. From airport hangers to add-on rooms in houses, radiant heating will provide you with maximum
comfort. Of course you can still have air conditioning, humidification and indoor air quality systems incorporated with radiant
heating.
