Established in 1956, Climate Control Company is a family owned S-corporation registered in the state of Colorado. Current owners, Michael and Lara Fergen, have continued to grow Climate Control Company’s reputation and maintain its strict standards of quality in the HVAC industry.
Climate Control is also dedicated to improving your indoor air quality. Climate Control Company is headquartered in Glenwood Springs, Colorado, 35 miles north of Aspen, CO. and 65 miles west of Vail, CO. This places us in one of the most desirable geographic areas in Colorado and allows us to serve our clients easily. Climate Control Company is a mechanical contracting firm specializing in design/build services, installation, full service shop fabrication, architectural sheet metal fabrication/installation and planned maintenance/service for HVAC systems. Some of these systems include forced air heating & cooling, hot water boilers, radiant floor heating, snow melting, roof top units, indoor air quality, humidifiers and energy saving control applications.
The Rocky Mountain weather is extremely variable from day-to-day and hour-to-hour and sometimes requires the need for heating, air conditioning and humidification all in one day. Even air conditioning can be needed in the winter months depending on location and building exposures. The highest BTU heat gain loads typically happen from December to February due to the sun's low angle, with our hottest month being July. Humidifiers are necessary in the cool, dry months of winter.
